In Clash of Clans every player has the urge to upgrade things quickly, and to do so they need builders. To hype things up another builder is introduced in the game which is called the 6th builder. Most players are confused about how to get it. In this article we’ll be putting an end to that confusion.
Where is the 6th Builder?
Previously there were five builders in the game, and all of these builders were in the home village. The newly added 6th builder is in the builder base, which has some prerequisites to acquire. This builder can be used in both the home village and the builder base. Unlocking the 6th builder can help you speed up your upgrading process and build more things at a time.
What are the requirements for the 6th Builder?
There are quite a few requirements or you can say prerequisites, that are needed to be full-filled before you can unlock the 6th builder.
- Your Builder Hall level should be 9. For that you have to build all the buildings and eventually you’ll get there.
- Your Town Hall level should be 10.
- In the Builder Base you should have unlocked the O.T.T.O hut.
How to get the 6th Builder?
As builders are hard workers, so to get them you need to do hard work. But we’ll make it easy for you. So, there are 2 ways you can get the 6th builder.
- Using Gems (Paid Method):
The first method is paid and it is quite swifter. For this you need gems and you can easily unlock the builder base in no time.
Requirements:
- Check for the required number of gems in your account.
- Check if you full-fill the aforementioned requirements for the 6th Builder.
Step-1: Open Clash of Clans and go to the Shop.
Step-2: Click on treasure and go to gems.
Step-3: From here buy gems, if there is a Builder Pack you can buy that. If not, buy regular gem packs.
Step-4: Go to builder base and start upgrading O.T.T.O using gems. For this you’ll have to update gear up defenses (cannons, archer towers and mortars) in the home village, cannon carts to level-18, mega tesla to level-9 and battle machine to level-30. After everything you upgrade the O.T.T.O hut will level up by one.
Step-5: When the O.T.T.O hut is upgraded to level-5.
You’ll have two builders in the Builder Base.
Then go to the Home Village and place the unplaced building, which will be the master builder’s hut.
After placing it’ll be like this.
Step-6: Go to the builder base, again, and click on the O.T.T.O hut which is of level-5 and press the travel button. This will transfer this builder from Builder base to Home village, which will serve as your 6th Builder.
Tips to get gems:
- Remove Obstacles from Home village and Builder base.
- Complete Challenges. This can give you up-to 1000 gems per challenge.
- Get to the champions league.
- Using Resources (Free Method):
This is the traditional method to unlock the 6th Builder. This will surely take a lot of time and resources such as Elixir, Gold and Dark Elixir.
Requirements:
- Check if you have the required number of resources available to upgrade.
- Check if you full-fill the aforementioned requirements for the 6th Builder.
Step-1: Open Clash of Clans and go to Builder Base.
Step-2: Now start upgrading requirements of the O.T.T.O hut. For this you’ll have to update gear up defenses (cannons, archer towers and mortars) in the home village, cannon carts to level-18, mega tesla to level-9 and battle machine to level-30. After everything you upgrade the O.T.T.O hut will level up by one. This will take a lot of time and patience.
Step-3: When the O.T.T.O hut is upgraded to level-5.

Usage of the 6th Builder?
The 6th Builder is actually the master builder. It can be used in both, Builder base and Home village, but it works in the same way as the normal builders. It doesn’t have any special power except for traveling between both bases. But the addition of another builder can increase your progress in the game.
