We all are familiar with Golem from our time at Clash of Clans and love the absolute unit of a tank it is. The Golem in the realm of Clash Royale isn’t much different. It is a single target melee-ranged ground troop. Which has an extremely high hitpoint, low mobility and moderate damage. Just like in Clash of Clans, the golem here spawns two Golemites when it is destroyed. These Golemites are similar in nature and just have lower stats compared to the Golem. The only noticeable difference is that the golem deals a blast damage when it is destroyed in the battle arena. Which is unlike the Golems from CoC.
Although the worlds of Clash of Clan and Clash Realm share the same universe. The way you obtain a new troop certainly varies. In Clash Realm, the new troops are unlocked when you unlock a certain battle arena. The higher the level of these arenas, the more exclusive troops you unlock.
The arena you battle in, is determined by the number of trophies you have. This is also the parameter by which you unlock newer arenas. Each arena has a distinct name, and has its associated cards which you unlock once you reach them. You start out with the training camp and the Goblin Stadium when you begin your Clash Royale journey. Subsequent arenas are unlocked every 300-400 trophies you gain.
Once you unlock a new arena, you get to try new troops once you obtain at least one card for the troop. You can obtain cards either by opening chests or by purchasing them from the shop.
How to get Golem?
In Clash Royale, the Golem is unlocked in the tenth arena, called the Hog Mountain. This arena unlocks the Elite Barbarian, Minion Horde, Furnace, Hunter, Ram Rider and Lava Hound
You unlock the Hog Mountain once you have a net 3000 trophies from battles. There are two main ways by which you can unlock the Golem. They are:
- From chest: In order to get new troops from chests, you have to:
Step I. Have to make sure that you have reached the Arena level in which the troop is available. In this case it is the tenth Arena a.k.a. the Hog Mountain.
Step II. Play matches to obtain new chests.
Step III. Open the chests to find new cards for new troops.
- From Shop: You can purchase cards from the in-game shop. The cards here cycle through the shop in a period of every three months. And fresh cards appear every 24 hours. In order to buy cards from here, you need to:
- Make sure that you are in the Arena level which unlocks the card you desire to buy.
- The card has appeared after the 24 hour refresh cycle.
Once you have these two criterias met, you have to:
Step I. Click on the shop button on the lower left side of the screen.
Step II. click on the card you wish to buy and then click the purchase button.
